In recent years, the upstream E&P professional community has noticed an increasing
number of papers from China. Meanwhile, Chinese E&P service companies have
increasingly showcased their technologies on a worldwide stage at international
conferences and exhibitions.
Chinese American Petroleum Association (CAPA) will take the opportunity during the
Annual International Meeting of the Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG) to invite
speakers and panelists to give an overview of the recent advances of E&P technology in China.
The forum will start with presentations from invited speakers from Mainland and Taiwan,
followed by questions to the panelists from the committee, and then questions and
discussion with the audience. The invited speakers are leaders and managers from major oil companies and national key research institutes. With the best knowledge of their work and efforts, we hope that this forum can help foster additional communication among
upstream professionals from Mainland, Taiwan and North America.
Reception dinner will be hosted after the forum at Renaissance Houston Hotel Greenway Plaza.
Companies from Houston and overseas will be invited to showcase their technologies
during the forum and reception.
