Dear CAPA Members:
Happy Year of the Tiger! I’m pleased to announce a joint CPC Taiwan and CAPA Technical Forum to be held in Taipei, Taiwan, tentatively for June 21-25, 2010. The theme for the technical forum will be “Exploration” (see the details below). CAPA is soliciting participation in this very meaningful forum for technical exchange. Interested members should submit the following to capahouston@gmail.com, with a subject line of “2010 CPC/CAPA Forum Abstract”, by March 5, 2010:
1) Abstract(s) in the suggested topic(s), along with your brief bio;
2) The length of each of your lecture(s); and
3) A Forum date if you do not favor June 21-25.
After CAPA’s internal selection process and approval by CPC Taiwan, I will notify each selected lecturer as soon as possible. Each selected lecturer will be provided with R/T coach-class airfare between Houston and Taipei, respectable honorarium, hotel accommodation (each lecture day + 2 days), plus reasonable meal and local travel allowances during your stay in Taiwan.
