Dear CAPA Members,

In the wake of the major earth quake that rattled China, causing major losses in human lives and properties, we are asking you to do whatever you can to help the victims back in China. In the past, CAPA and its members were generous and very involved in helping natural disaster victims in Taiwan, Mainland and around the globe. As the news continually unfolds the horrible aftermath of what this quake did to our homeland, we are asking you to reach out. One way is to donate money to American Red Cross at:

This site is specifically designed to handle the donation for Chinese earthquake victims. Also, remember that sometimes your employer may match the donation you made to American Red Cross. Please check with your company’s policy. Should you prefer, you may also send your donation to CAPA, payable to “CAPA – Sichuan Earthquake”. The mailing address: 4904 Maple Street, Bellaire, Texas 77401, USA. A special bank account will be set up to handle the donation exclusively and the receipt from American Red Cross or International Red Cross will be posted later on our website to show the transfer of the donation.

In addition, CAPA will set up a donation task force, led by Dr. Linn Fang (832-518-6430). We may need volunteers at various locations in and around Houston area to help collect public donations in the following days. Please let us know if you will be available for such tasks.
